Gentle Exercise Classes

Gentle exercise classes can get your blood pumping and muscles working! Our classes have proven benefits including helping you to manage your weight, and improving overall fitness levels. At Active Rainbow, our trained fitness instructors will ensure that you get fit while having some fun! We promote a fitter and healthier lifestyle. We conduct our fun-filled sessions in Halifax and the surrounding areas. To find out more about our classes, get in touch with us right away.

Active adults provide a number of exercise classes within the local area of Halifax.

All of these exercise classes are designed for people with specific needs. All of our instructors are cardiac rehabilitation qualified and are very welcoming and friendly.
 
Both Sophie and Eve offer 1-2-1 prescribed exercise classes for individuals with mobility problems in their own home who are unable to attend our classes. This is offered by prior arrangement.

The class instructor provides in depth teaching points and adaptations to enable clients of any age, fitness level or disability to carry out effective moves appropriate for their level.

A Pilates class performed standing and on the floor with the use of a mat, using the aid of balls, bands and chairs to perform traditional Pilates moves, such as ‘Thread the needle’, ‘The Hundred’ and ‘The Plank’. The session provides strength of the core, back, legs and arms. The class also
improves balance, posture and flexibility. The class instructor provides in depth teaching points and adaptations to enable clients of any age, fitness level.
